Eagle River & Brush Creek Colorado
by joey on Jan.21, 2008, under Fly Fishing
Jason and I fished the lower Eagle and Brush Creek Sunday. Pretty slow Jason landed a couple on each piece of water but they fit in the palm of his hand. Although they did come on my own creation called the red ass baboon (we collectively decided). It was beautiful day so it didnt matter much how the fishing was. Both of these rivers are very tempermental. One day it is on fire the next you can’t find them with dynamite. So it goes. Here are a few shots.

Some pictures from the Frying Pan that we have taken over the month. Weather has been cold but the fishing has been good. Tiny midges red, black and grey. Mysis and eggs have been good lead flies.

Preparing for the next day.

I went over to yelllow dog fly fishing to see what my options were. The reel baja looked nice and a fairly cheap ticket from Denver. Lets see if I can get this one by the old lady.
