Lake Trout: Almost Record

John Geiger, of Rockton, Illinois, caught this enormous lake trout on July 11, out of Tazin Lake, which is located in the northwest corner of Saskatchewan, Canada. Floated the Roaring Fork from Carbondale to West Bank today. Prince, Eggs and micro mayflies produced action all day. Although the fatty of the day came on the Paul Zimmerman Olive Fluro Fiber Midge. Say that 5 times fast.
