Lower Colorado: February 2008
by joey on Feb.18, 2008, under Fly Fishing
Floated the lower “C” Saturday with a few guys from the shop. Things looked promising; sunny, good water clarity, good reports and a good charge of beer. About an hour into the float the clouds moved in and the wind picked up, what was supposed to be sunny and 45 turned in to cloudy and 25. Fishing was slow, between the 2 boats we only landed a few fish. We threw everything from midges, eggs, worms, big stuff, tiny stuff and Bob even sunk a # 14 PMX for the hell of it. All around a good day on the water not many fish, but a lot of laughs and we were all off the couch. Not bad for February
