I stubled upon this picture on the lovely world wide web. Monster fish keepers I think I’ll go noodling.

A couple of weeks ago I was able to fish with Travis Rummel, one of the minds behind Feltsoul Media. They are currently working on a new film that will be released this spring called Red Gold. Here is the trailer but be sure to look for the finished product in a few months.

Fished Gore Creek through Vail yesterday afternoon. Really overcast and snowy conditions allowed us to sneak up on some very spooky fish. There are four species of fish in Gore Creek; Rainbows, Cutthroats, Browns and Brook Trout. There are also some cutbows. We we able to catch one of each yesterday as well as a cutbow. Hot flies were grey midges, eggs and a new creation called the sticky green midge.
