Colorado High Water: Waiting Game

Day after day the morning has started with looking at the water gauge and not being satisfied with the results. Odd weather here and everywhere has got everybody wondering when the sun will shine and if it does for how long? Rainy days followed but really hot days have kept the water levels high for the past 3 weeks. Fishing has been difficult……

This is not what you want to wake up to see….giant up and downs. Not good.
Prior to our second stage of runoff we did see dome big scary bugs. I dont like it when the crawl on you.

Since then we have been doing a lot of hanging out.

Even the dog is bored he read the Land of the Lost.

So until we find some floatable/fishable water well keep wating.

Mexico Rooster Fly Fishing: Baja Beach Bum

“Bear Claw Curry” just got back from bumming on the beach south of the border. He was able to serve up a few sore lips during his stay. Check out these Roosta’s from the beach. Nice work Curry!!
