Back In The Snow & Outta The City

Finally made it home yesterday after a 3 hour flight to Denver where we were met by a snow storm which turned our 2 hour drive home into a 4 hour white nuckle nightmare. Like all trips it is nice to leave and also nice to get back. Amos and I spent the last 4 days visiting our friends Bunk and Georgie in the second most dense place in the country, San Francisco. Day one was rainy so we finished up some last minute Turkey Day shopping, did some driving around and hit up a late day movie; Changeling, which if you haven’t seen it go prepared.

Amos and I in Japan Town

Checked out some hippies on Haight and Ashbury….”dude Jerry lives.”

San Francisco has the steepest streets I have ever seen. We did alot of walking around and it was constantly up & down.

“Welcome to the Rock.” View from the roof deck.

I had to show all of you this. He was not the only one swimming either. EWWWWWW.

On day 3 we headed over the Golden Gate and up to Sanoma for a little wine tasting.

Georgie has a lead foot.

All of us at the first stop. Started things off with a little bubbly.

Some vines at stop number 3 which was the best. It was the Doobie Brothers managers vineyard…good stuff.

After the wine tour we kinda took things to the next level in town.

Met this stranger.

Amos saying hi.

Bunk and Georgie after a couple Tanqueray and Tonics. It was a very fun trip and I have too many pics to post. Thanks to Bunk and Georgie for the hospitality. Well see ya at Christmas.

Awesome photography guys. Sounds/looks like a killer trip. Hard to decide what pic/caption I like best .. I guess its a toss up between “stranger we met” .. “hate ashbury crossroads” and the “bio hazard swimmers” .. … Great post.
