Colorado River: Got The Boat Wet

Proabably the warmest day in 2008 yesterday so I busted the boat out and headed north to the Upper Colorado for some fishing, floating and chillin. Bob, Jason and their significant others met Amy and I at Pumphouse and we followed eachother down the Mighty Colorado River. We didn’t fish too hard but we managed a few Browns and one hansome Whitey.
Jason and Bob have a good laugh while fishing near cooton wood. Nice net work J.
Jason Manuevers Bob and his wife Amy through the canyon. It was Jasons first full day on the oars and now he is looking for a new boat. Awesome day on the river, it felt good to finally get the boat wet and see the upper part of the Colorado.

Not too bad to navigate, but the thought of throwing the person who signs your paycheck out of the boat in cold drink did put me on edge. Fun day on the water Joe. Lets do it again soon!!!

Well if you would have thrown him from the boat at least you had the Hot Springs to warm him back up in so he could possibly sign another paycheck for you. Probably to cold to see any naked hippie girls from Rancho in the hot springs though.

We saw a couple already in the springs cleaning up for the spring widespread concerts:)
