Harvey Gap Reservoir: Pike Expedition

RA and I hit the dusty trail in search of big nasty pike Saturday on Harvey Gap Reserior. We walked, walked and walked and saw 2 pike, both wouldn’t eat and one was so big we thought was a log and didn’t realize it was a fish until we threw at rock in the water and it started to move. The water was still really cold but RA did manage this giant bass.

That is a serious HAWG. Did you get a weight on the boga grip?

Good luck with the pike, pete. Water is still a little cold here for them. Hopefully we’ll find some on our next trip to the res.
