Naples Florida: Sunset And Wildlife

Judes (my mom) sent me these pictures that she took down in Naples, FL in hope that is might warm us up out here in Colorado. While the pictures are great I think they have had an opposite effect…we just go a foot of snow and more is in the forecast.

  1. Great shots mom The egrets (those are egrets right?) Are killer, the reflection of the sand piper is very nice. I like the cloudy sunset too. Things are pretty white out here I’ll have to send some winter pics your way.

  2. Nice shots, there’s a good possibility Iv’e fished those beaches and I consider myself very fortunate to have that opportiunity. The photo of the egrets reminded me of a funny story. My son and I were fishing at doctors pass in Naples when he had an egret fly right into his cast, well needless to say what a mess and to top it all off I lost one of my favorite knives trying to untangle the bird.also the makers of suffix twenty pound braided line should be proud that stuff is tuff. And yes those beaks are VERY pointy.OUCH!

  3. To Titanbite. We live basically at Doctors Pass, so yes you were her. Sunny and Muggy, Headed home to the chill tomorrow. Merry Christams everyone!

  4. Judes - your dangerous with the camera. those are 3 quality shots. nice, hope to see some more pics on here from you ….. is that a digital camera you are using or SLR? great shot of the bird with reflection .. and the shot with birds with moving water “frozen” is sweet too ..
