Cordell Baum, a.k.a bonefish whisperer,sent me this pic of a permit he landed on the fly a few weeks ago. He is the real deal. Poles himself around in a 2 man canoe and crushes big stuff all the time. Check him out. This monster took him nearly an hour to land after it dragged him and his canoe all over the flats. Take a close look and you’ll see the crab pattern sticking in its upper lip.
