For those of you who have not noticed it is Steelhead Season and if you have never fished the Salmon River in NY it is a must on the bucket list. The river gets a filthy run of Big Steelhead out of Lake Ontario giant Brown Trout also swim up the system which are a nice bonus. Our friend Dave Severson has grown up in the banks of the Salmon and other drainages that flow iinto the big lake. He knows every inch of the river and where the fish hold.
