Washington Winter Fly Fishing: March Steelhead Swinging
Got an update from my friend Dave Severson last week on his first trip out to the Olympic Peninsula. He and Kory did some serious exploring with the Spey Rod on too many rivers to mention. Although no fish were landed many were hooked and battled. Some of them lost to the death roll next to beach and others were called on un-necessary roughness for being to hot to handle. Here are some images from his trip. Thanks Dave.

The Mossy Trees in along the rivers in NW Washington are a marvel to look at.

Big Water..
Glad you guys had a fun trip. It is so beautiful up there that catching a fish is a bonus. It sucks when you go for a swim in March though…haha. I would have liked to have seen that. Kinda like Alex on the SR in Nov. Too funny.
