Yo Ho Ho And A Bottle Of Rum

Well it all started with a group trip on the Eagle River Saturday Afternoon. Things went good, people were happy and we caught fish. Jason and I left the shop and headed out to meet the girls at Arrowhead for some drinks and music. Well we missed the music but not the drinks. Lately our drink of choice has been Pacifico with a floater of Bacardi Limon as a floater in the neck of the bottle. We’ll we figured out last night that 6 of those might be a bit excessive. For more info on the history of the sugary substance check it out. HERE

Today we nursed our swollen heads and hit up the Route 6 Cafe for some morning flavor. The sun heated things up to around 50-55 degrees and put us right back in the saddle chillin on the deck. We were all a bit off schedule from the time change so we eased into the day with……well more of the drink of choice.

We had planned on fishing but time got in the way. Jason and I decided to break out the 8 weight and the spey rod for some back yard casting. Here I am stringing one up. After docking the Black Pearl.

Jason throwing the big gun and trying not to whip the neighbor who was looking at us with 3 eyes while starting his grill. Overall a killer weekend. Probably indulged a bit too much but what the hell.
